Message from Wallace: As a young person I experienced the positive effects and the value of accessing counselling services. Therapy gave me the tools to navigate the effects of a difficult childhood and helped me to manage my depression and anxiety. My experience inspired me to help others and influenced my post-secondary education path. This desire was further cemented after sustaining my spinal cord injury during my second year of university. If not for the power of peer connections and the help of a great social worker, I don't believe I would be where I am today.

Since achieving my MSW (Master of Social Work) designation, l have worked as a social worker in a number of different capacities. Combined with my education and work skill set, my 35+ years of lived experience with a spinal cord injury is one of my greatest assets as a therapist.

Out of respect for our unique experiences, I draw from multiple modes of therapy as appropriate.

I am currently working with Sherry Maxwell and Associates Counselling Services (SMA), providing virtual therapy, supporting people in the disability community and those who have experienced trauma. As a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), there are restrictions when it comes to Cross-Jurisdictional Practice. Currently, I am taking on clients from Ontario. I am open to registering and practicing in other provinces and territories if there is interest. I am registered as Wallace H Earle.

You can visit the SMA website by clicking HERE, or you can call 519-621-8858 to request information on becoming a client. My work as a therapist will remain separate from my activity here on t6talk. All inquiries about my services as a therapist MUST go through Sherry Maxwell and Associates Counselling Services.
